Hyperspin and mame bezel art
« on: January 09, 2014, 07:17:59 pm »
Anyone know the trick to getting bezels to show in mame when launched from hyperspin?  I have the mame ini line set to 1 for bezels, and I have the mame module options turned on in hyperlaunch, but I don't see them when I launch from hyperspin, only from the regular mame exe.

Yeah basically I had to turn the options on everywhere in HLHQ... in the mame module options, as well as in HLHQ bezel setting.  All had to be enabled.

I know this is an old thread but in what location should bezel files be saved when used under hyperspin?

Thanks.

Are you talking about bezels that MAME uses or Bezels that Hyperlaunch superimposes ?

MAME : Bezels go in ./artwork subfolder of your MAME exe.

HyperLaunch: Bezels go in
Code: [Select]
C:\Hyperspin\Hyperlaunch\Media\Bezels\MAME (or your equivalent).

Taking the HL example say for Mortal Kombat you would have...
Code: [Select]
C:\Hyperspin\Hyperlaunch\Media\Bezels\MAME\MK\bezel-name.ini
C:\Hyperspin\Hyperlaunch\Media\Bezels\MAME\MK\bezel-name.png

You can have multiple bezels here and have it configured in HL how you change back and forth between them.

Hope that helps.
