An (almost) Finished Project
« on: November 14, 2013, 08:34:36 am »
This summer i start to build my own cabinet. The intension was to keep it simple. I didn't make much photo's and only with my iPhone. But like to share them with you folks, though.
Now, the project is almost finished, just a few t-moldings here and there. Also i have to order a new sticker for on the glass above the monitor. I ruined it  :banghead: so it has to be done again.

The second picture show's the difference in neck size. At the background the B&O, becuase i didn't wanna build a huge cabinet i choose that one.

The second photo shows the drawing for the CPO i made. The third...bah, way to bling bling. The fifth photo are the LED strips. For a few dollars buyed on Ebay.
The sixth photo, much better when the black isn't that shiny.

The first photo. An "old" torch fits exactly under in case of the trackball. The second shows a nice and bright trackball.
Because the telly won't go a when powering the jamma board and the TV at the same time i use a moeller time relay. After 10 seconds the jamma board powers up and the problem is solved,

The first photo. Lot's of light from only one LED strip. The last two photo's shows how far i am for this moment. Just a few things and i'm done. Well, this is my project in a nutshell.

Well, it works. But i don't like playing with it. I thought Millipede and Centipede are games that only can be played with a trackball. This seems not to be true.
As said, i prefer a joystick.

Thanks for the comments. Designing the CPO was fun also. The circuitboard is the same as the pic i attached here. The RGB pot's are for the colour-intensity. The other pot is to reduce the sync signal. There is an pic with a blurry Donkey Kong. Reducing the voltage from the sync input avoids that.
