Looking for labeled button for Escape key.

I am trying to find a button that is either labeled Esc or Back for my control panel. I need a black button with white writing. Do they exist.

No, you'd have to get it cut out in vinyl and apply it to the buttons yourself. Someone here is doing them.

I'd start here.

I think those should work out great.  How durable are decals.  Since they are for menu buttons and not play buttons they won't get as much wear but still curious about how well they will hold up.

Decals usually are not very durable.   Even original 1player screen painted buttons have worn down eventually.

I think if you do go with some sort of decal, you would probably want to spray several layers of some sort of
clear-coat layer over it, to protect it.

Over time, the clear layers may start to wear down.. (depending on use and chosen clearcoat durability and thickness)
but you could always reapply new top coats.

There's also the option to use translucent Seimitsu buttons and apply the decal to the insert inside them.
Since you want a black button, you'd buy a clear button for the plunger and then a black button for the rest of the parts.
The mounting holes for the Japanese buttons is slightly larger and they are made for thin control panels though.

The same thing cab be done with square or rectangular 8-liner buttons.

San Francisco Rush had an "Abort" button that could be used.  ;D
