I think it's just a bit of self promotion, because he's not selling the artwork files.

I forgot something important, I restore for free. ;D Cool, no?

But what good does restoring for free do if you then have to buy a printed copy of the restored work at an over market price and do not get access to the digital files that have been restored ??? -- You shouldn't try to mislead people into thinking that you are doing this to help them when your intentions are to built an inventory of artwork that you offer to sell prints of -- Be HONEST and tell people what it is you offer and if they are happy with it then fine, but personally if I pay someone to restore a piece of artwork, I expect to get a digital file that I will have future access to not just a single one time print of the work I pay for that someone else retains and resells to others.  :dunno

Please, if you like this gallery, fantastic!; you will enjoy with my next works, if you donīt, please again, donīt wreck this thread, Ok?

Thanks so much for your understanding!

IF you keep it a gallery then fine - but if you start advertising it as a means of getting restoration work done "FREE" in order to source free artwork from others to build an inventory of product to SELL - then it needs to be explained to them that there is no such thing as "Free" -- Figure you are the one that started the wrecking of the thread when you posted :

Quote
I forgot something important, I restore for free. ;D Cool, no?
When you have never had and still do not have the intention of providing a free service - you may do the restoration for "free" but for anyone to get a useable print they have to "BUY" it from you one copy at a time at the price you decide is fair and you reserve the right to reuse the work they sent you to sell the result to others as well but they can not have a copy of their files - since you have already made it clear in your other post that you have now conveniently edited but the original quote is still in the responses :

Oh, sorry, The Lumberjackass, I canīt help you. I avoid to send digital files because in past some people made bussiness with it.

So you clearly do not intend to provide restoration of files for "FREE" since you will not even provide digital files after someone pays you for the service !!! Just be honest about what it is you are offering and if Saint feels like allowing you to post watermarked images to promote your service on his dime then fine but keep it truthful as to what is going on and don't try to confuse others into sending you free inventory for you to resell to them and others.

He is saying that you should be very clear about what you do:

1. You restore artwork that somebody else scans for you.
2. Then they have to buy a printed version back from you, but you keep the digital files.
3. You sell more prints of the same artwork to other people.

Don't try to hide stuff by deleting threads and comments. People on this forum don't respond well to those practices.

Ok, you try with another artist if you need a restoration and than he will send your digital file restored. Fine!

If I will sell artwork, I will use market subforum. I understood, Sjaak!

May I keep on with my thread?

In this gallery, you can see my own original arcade artworks scanned and restored by me. My livingroom table can be seen in all photos.

Sorry, but I donīt want to send my restored files.

From the post on dragonslairfans, it looks like you agreed to send printed artwork, but then didn't honor the deal. I think you should post an explanation because otherwise people may think bad things about you.

Logo in Ghouls and Ghost CPO is just in bended site, there is no way like vectorizing. I hate to vectorice fonts.

Now, all letter are perfet, with the same width an height. :)

I'm not sure if that is good advice:

If people read the entire thread, they will read a post from you saying that you promised some printed after burner art in exchange for some high quality scans of the after burner art. And after that they will read that you did not send him the printed artwork, but just the restored files.

Yeah, I don't think you should chalk it up to "You misunderstood me". Your professional reputation should be worth more than the hit it's taking over printing out the artwork.

not own. some are from other people. many years have you been stealing, crafts, tutorials, and even money. ask for donations to buy arts saying they are to preserve, shopping, not teach, and then sell

spanish: propias no. algunas son de otras personas. llevas robando muchos aņos, artes, tutoriales, e incluso dinero. pides donaciones para comprar artes diciendo que son para preservarlas, compras, no las enseņas, y luego las vendes
