Seriously considering getting one as an investment...only 250 boxed ones being made.  From then on, the game will still be, but not boxed ones.

As someone who collected consoles for ten years... and had all of the early 5200 limited boxed releases at one point... you'll have to hold it for 5+ years to get any real return.  And you won't be able to use it.  If you want the game for yourself and your collection, that's cool, but as a pure investment it's not that great unless you want to buy ALL of them.   ;D

Holding it for 5+ years is no issue.  I've had pretty good results on the things I've bought with that intention.  Still thinking about it, so I'll probably just end up forgetting about it in the end.

Don't buy THINGS for investments, the return is normally pretty low. Buy shares (",)

I've also learned that the most worthless collectables are things that are marketed as a collectable.  Everybody snatches them up new because "they are a collectable" and hold on to them forever to get a return on their investment.  So nearly everybody that would be in that niche market to want one, already has one.

This is really cool and all, but it's still a port of a much better arcade game.  If it were something more original like a sequel to Atari Adventure, it would be much more exciting.
