-ror  Rotate screen clockwise  
-rol  Rotate screen anti-clockwise

I had the same problem when I started.

I run the DOS version because of the low overhead, reliability and simplicity. The arcadeos front end is great for this because you select the rotation of the screen while in the menu list.
