Anyways. I often get a kick out of the message signs in front of churches. Yesterday I saw the following:

TO AVOID SINBURN

GET SONSCREEN

HAHAHAHAAH. That's pretty comical.

Shrug. The first one (OP) is painfully unfunny. The second one, as far as I can tell, contains no abbreviations. Did you mean misspelling?

The church I pass on the way to my parents house had a lot of really, really good ones. I especially loved the one they had during the last Superbowl:

And yeah, they're not "pull-over-to-laugh-uproarishly" funny but they're often quite clever and amusing. Almost makes me start wanting to go to church again. Almost.

Duquesne University, Pittsburgh PA. Amusing to me even more, since it's a Catholic University. It was there from the late 89's when I started college, and was there throughout my 4 years there, and beyond. Guess the custodians were Pens fans.
