Do you not care when good actors die? 
I also stand by pinballjim's deleted post, which I never saw. I should probably just shake my head and walk away, rather than fanning the spark, but he's just some guy who got very old and then died. It's not like Heath Ledger or what's-her-name from 8 Mile, who died tragically young. And it's not like this Ernest Borgnine, whose name none of us even knew before this thread, was like Paul Newman or Tom Hanks or Humphrey Bogart.
His filmography is just a long, long list of almost nothing but mediocrity. And that's
fine. I'm not trying to disparage the guy, or disrespect the dead. I'm just saying that, like, are we going to have one of these posts for
every single actor who grows old and dies of natural causes? Because . . . that's sort of something that every single one of them do. And posting a thread for all of them, frankly, dilutes the impact of the ones that actually matter.
