We are lucky we still have the team in Nashville. Few years ago it went up for sale, a Canada businessman was going to buy it and move them north. Luckily some local investors bought them and changed the marketing. They have been successful since then. Hard to do when you have an NFL team right up the street.

I need a house to put stuff in, instead of an apartment with stacks of boxes.

Knievel,
I am looking to start a project into the bartop machine and was looking for ideas but yours has just blown me away.
The detail is unreal and finish is superb. Great job.
Was it easy to use the continuous Imould around the curves?
Thanks

The Rangers have always been my favorite team.  I started liking them as a kid because I thought their red-white-blue color scheme looked really good on them (and of course it was America's colors).  Their goalie masks always look very patriotic, too, with the Statue of Liberty on them.  Really got into it during their '94 Cup win.

Even though they're the "best" team this go around (since Vancouver's already out), I'm not too impressed with their showing so far.  I'd like to see a breakdown of the offensive zone time of each team during the series with the Senators.  Seems like the Rangers were always on defense.
I'll exercise patience when you stop exercising stupidity.

The sad thing is, I live in Dallas now so I sort of half root for the FakeStars and half for the Wild, lol.

Who do you root for in the post season though?

If the Flyers win the cup, I will make one of these in orange and black. There I said it.

I mocked this up a while ago for my buddy with the Flyercade..

The one up top? It's a 120mm PC fan.
There is also a smaller fan that blasts the processor heatsink, that was part of the Dell.

PC fans I have seen are like an inch thick and meant for internal mounting,  This one seems to be outside surface mounted... yet inset somehow.  I never saw one like that.

Looks like the fan's mounted inside with a plastic cover mounted outside (albeit with an awesome Jets sticker in the middle).

Yea the winters here ain't what they used to be though.
Lack of snow and a mild winter crushed my dreams of a backyard rink for the kiddies.

Global warming is real.  I spent three days putting my rink together outside of Boston and we got one day of skating all winter.

And the year before global cooling was real. I think I got a decades worth of snow in the 2010-2011 winter.  :laugh2:

Yeah buddy, grew up in St. Vital! Living in Denver now but go back every month. Just finished building a Transformers bartop in Winnipeg, on Chuch Avenue in a huge shop that I have access to. If you ever need tools, or want to build another, I'd love to do a Jets one!

Cheers!

I've used Tempered glass on every cabinet.

Where do you get tempered glass in Winnipeg? Most places I looked, it was very expensive. Have been trying to track down Greylite 14 in the city. Thanks!

Thanks. When I need to get glass locally I normally use Pioneer Window and Door.
Tempered glass comes from outside the province so you'll be waiting a couple of weeks no matter where you buy from.

Did a Blackhawks one after I finished that Jets. Need to get the camera out I guess.

Thanks Le Chuckster.

Guys I can make some measurements off this one for you but I doubt it would be enough to work from.
I don't have any plans, never do. I make my side template then build as I go.

These things are a lot of work. If you are starting out and thinking this would be an easy first build, it's not.
Honestly I think I can build a full cabinet in the same or possibly less time.

This.  The smaller they get the longer they take.  I can toss together a good full size twice to three times as fast as it takes to execute a mini of similar build quality.

That's initially surprising, but upon thinking about it I can see how the challenges of 'miniturizing' and fitting it all, combined with cooling, can cause new challenges.
