My advice on this thread is based on my PERFECT DRIVING RECORD SINCE I WAS 16.
That's not a very sensible thing on which to base advice to someone who got a ticket. The experience you're basing your advise on is entirely inapplicable to the situation.
In what way? My perfect driving record has nothing to do with advice on getting a speeding ticket and resolving it?

That little comment explains it all.

So you see you can work and not be a burden on your family and the government. I know that college loan is going to be a killer.
Isn't that like saying "I've never been to jail" or "I take care of my kids".
It's why old folks like me (and I'm only 44) laugh at idiots who think that merely doing the obvious makes them heroes.
As for your perfect driving record, the only thing that establishes is that you have absolutely no experience with the legal system, so your opinion is worth ... well, nothing.
I have experience in the legal system. My parents always got speeding tickets, parking fines, etc. I took care of them all.
I believe you are caught doing something against the rules you should own up and make the restitution. I wish that includes paying your own fines too..

You are only 44? Well Mr grumpy pants, we will both be gumming our breakfasts then, even if you are already a year older than me.
