Dodge Revives Dart Name for All-New Compact Car

They f'd up the Charger, but the Cuda looks sweet.

When I was working on my Dart 10 years ago, a 70+ year old neighbor came into the garage and said something like "That's a Dart? I thought Darts were compact cars."

Hopefully Dodge actually remakes the Dart, and they don't just put a DART on the back of a Neon.

Dodge Darts are cool. Very fun car. I hope they don't screw it up.

Mike, What year is your Charger?

My first car was a old mustang cobra. Sorry, I guess I was a Ford man.

Now I drive a...sigh....Buick Century.

Yeah. Parents old car. The only perk is that if I drive like a maniac, the cops ignore me. They assume I'm in my 80's, and my driving is then considered above average.  :lol

Its a 2007. I saw it on the road and I really liked it, went out and bought one a few days later.  ;D

The bummer however, is that the dealership didnt tell me that the challenger was going to come out a year later. Of course they didnt, they wanted me to buy a car right then  :lol

I drove a Ford too. A ranger. I had a few trucks, but then decided hey, its time to grow up. Get a car.

Buick century!?!? haha thats awesome. Those tuna boats are built like tanks though. My grandma has one.  :laugh2:

IMO the new Charger is a fine car, it just shouldn't have the Charger name attached to it.  Hopefully the won't do the same thing to the dart.

My cousin has a Dodge Dart that came from the factory as a drag racer.  From what I understand they were very rare.  It is a sweet car.

That Duster looks awesome.  For some reason old Dodges look great in any color.

Sorry, when I said f'd up I meant what he said.

The new Charger looks cool, but it doesn't look like a Charger.

I suppose. If anything, the challenger looks like the old charger. To me anyway, what the hell do I know, I was born in 82'.  ;D

Those new Dodge's look pretty badass, but I've heard absolutely nothing except bad news from everyone I've talked to that owns one.

Yeah, they don't make them like they use to.

My Dart was my hobby car. It was a slant 6 I never had any problems with it. I had a Neon for a daily driver. It was ok, but a pain to fix and needed to be fixed often.

I think all new cars are made to only have 5 good years in them.

I havent had any trouble with mine at all, I love my car. Aside from routine maintenance, I have never had to fix anything. Its a great car, put a bunch of miles on it already with no problems.  :dunno

It's four years old. Next year that all ends.

Great. 2012 is gonna suck. Car is gonna break down, then the world is gonna end. At least I wont have to bother with fixing it.

1970 Duster

Damn, I still miss mine... and that was a looooong time ago. The '70 is a hard one to find these days too.

I rather like the look of the 70's Challengers, for something a little unloved...
