Welll anyhow....the video was cool...and I spent the day watching some of the others. Like the ones on C64 and Amiga. Great stuff. I also like the tech news clips at the end of some of them. "IBM announces a new 386 that boasts a massive 16 megabytes of memory..." LOL

Man that space shuttle game looks like the most boring thing I could ever imagine playing. Then again when the only other option is playing a board game then I might take shot at it. It really hits you how far games have come when he's talking about how real it feels and how you actually feel like you just went into space. It's going to be interesting to see where games go in the next 20+ years.

I was thinking the opposite.  That's probably the most advanced Atari 2600 game ever and that genius was able to program it into an 8K cartridge.  8K!!!!  To put it into perspective, that's half the memory used by this ---smurfy--- ROFL icon: -->

I also enjoyed the Bill Budge segment.  I loved Pinball Construction Set and One on One!

That's true. Obviously everything was limited, memory, processing power, inputs, and whatever else. It just seems like a bad idea for a video game to me. Thank god I grew up in the '90s when all the good video games came out

Well, I thought it was exciting growing up watching games develop into what they are today. I was there in the very beginning and still there. And Space Shuttle to me was boring, but space nerds loved it. It depends on the person I suppose. I know people who like Train Simulators....I hate them. I also know people who love Microsoft Flight Simulator....I find it boring as hell. Space Shuttle was more of a simulator than a game anyway.
