NOTE: The video below is of the full version and the pics are from the arcade version. The arcade is very much so like an arcade game would be. Insert coin, play. Game over. No frills or extra's. Just remember that F1 opens up the options menu so you can set your buttons or set it to free play or have it accept coins if you want. Game is 1024x768 full screen only. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

About the Game It's just FMV quick time events similar to Dragons Lair. Press the direction arrow when it flashes. Be quick or you will get a strike. 3 strikes and you're out with this chick. Unlock the bonus game with a perfect run including all 4 Post it bonus scenes. Unlock hidden Posted notes scenes by pressing the action button when you spot a hidden Post it note. (Tip: first post it is at the very beginning right when he flashes back to his garage story) The rest are much easier to spot.

This is a sequel to a very short and not so great project I did years ago called "Survival 1:Horror". If anyone is interested in trying the first one out you can snag it for free HERE WHERE THE LINK IS.  The second one is nothing like the first so that's why you won't see it listed on my website. it's not that great at all so don't judge the sequel from it.

Get the Hyperspin Theme free here: DOWNLOAD

Buy the Hyperspin friendly PC Arcade Version for just $1.99 HERE (No unlockable menu's,  difficulty setting is locked in, no high score save feature)

Buy the PC Stand Alone Full Version for $4.99 HERE (Unlock Menu's to watch fail scenes at will, along with sexy fantasy scenes, and bonus scenes. Adjustable difficulty and a high score feature)

Thanks again everyone for your support.

Jenny who is a really sexy mid 20's girl is game for anything. I was worried when we did a script read but she said nothing was out of her comfort zone and would be willing to do more.

One of my friends is in a rock band and we are using some of his tunes.. but also using some music beds and effects from some royalty free options. If you are in a band i'm open to hear what you have..

You're going overboard and getting a touch creepy with comments like this.

Just sayin'.

Really? I just think it's a nice looking photo all around man.. She looks good, yes but the gun looks nice, the colors are nice too.. it's a total package photo. We are just having a good time trying to put a game together is all.

It is but it's pretty bad in comparison to what we are creating now. It was done 7 years ago on a weekend whim. We never scripted anything before shooting and we were not even sure we could program it. It's not terrible but it's not something that anyone would want to play twice. I guess that does make it sound pretty terrible. I've been debating on whether to give it out or just sit on it. I really don't want it to be used as a comparison to how the second one is going to be. The sequel is going to be so much better with it's different mechanics, better story, hidden bonus scenes, and better camera work. The big key difference is the mechanics.. "Survival 1 : Horror" was a choose your own adventure kinda game where as "Survival 2 : Get Lucky" is more of an actual game where you press direction and action button on the fly like Dragons Lair. If you don't make the right move on the fly then you loose a life. 3 Lives to complete the game much like Dragons Lair. Loose 3 lives, and game over. Insert Coin to play again.. :)

Below are some screen shots from our first attempt though..

Love the idea, and definitely think you have the right 'star' there, if she read through the script and had no complaints. (Keep us updated when the "MA" version is finished.)

You download might be timing out causing a partial download. I downloaded it on a couple machines and tested before posting the link. I also tried it when I got home from work and it was ok.  Can anyone esle confirm?

The download or the game?  I've tried the download from several machines here at home and work and it downloads just fine.. right click save as.. it's 191 MB (200,634,626 bytes) zip file of the game install.  As far as the game working, I can only say that i've tried it on my systems and a some friends have tested it and so far everyone reported that it worked fine. I just downloaded it again using Firefox and IE and it worked.. hm.. I wonder if it's because you are not in USA or something silly like that. That would mean that hosting site sucks!

As an aside, it's fun to see your project. I do video editing as a side hobby/business, and it's something I've never thought of, but might be fun to try. I'm looking forward to the final product.

Just a little update for anyone who may actually be watching this project.. Little menu demonstration for the game I'm working on. This is the PC Version and not the Arcade version. Keep in mind that it's still early and things are subject to change. Thanks for looking..

Wow this is awesome...  I have an animated laserdisc game idea that I want to do.  A friend of mine has been working on an feature length animated film for a couple years now.  I'd love to do an animated laserdisc style game to go along with his movie, but no idea of where to even start at.

Hey Dazz.. Good to see you make it around to other boards.. I almost posted this project on the HS forum as well and I plan too once I get the arcade version of the game done. I'll share it with the HS members and create a theme for it as well. Take care buddy..

If you're open to a little constructive criticism, I've got some.

In the how to "up or down or left or right or the action button" has too much "or" and not enough ","

To make this cab friendly you might want to consider changing "(Esc) to Return" to "Press action button to return"
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Thanks for the suggestions.. I actually did work on the "How To" page yesterday because I didn't like it either. It feels congested a bit and is lacking on some of the exact control specifications as well. Fine tuning I guess you could say..

As for Cab Friendly, There will be a completly new menu system for arcade cabinet setups. It will be geared towards arcade controls and so forth. I guess I should of mentioned that the demo vid is for the PC version only at this time.

Thanks for the suggestions though. They help alot in the fine tuning process..

I'm very happy to announce that the game is almost complete!! As always the updates are dated and noted in the first post as well.

(Update 11/23/2011)
- Few more screenshots. The (PC VERSION) of the game is nearing completion. Also, the game has been moved to a widescreen format to fit the growing standard. PC requirements are pretty low which I'm pleased about. One of my test systems is an intel Celeron 2.1GHz laptop. It takes a bit to load but once it loads it runs smooth. The only real requirement is that you need to have direct X show installed which is part of any direct x version that you probably already have installed. Basically, if you can play divx files then you can play this game.

This is pretty exciting! What are your distribution plans? Just going to share a link and hope it spreads? Facebook page?

Not sure yet. I wasn't even sure I could pull this off to begin with but I have to say that it really came together nicely. It plays extremely well and I've had some good input from a couple of game testers to help me fine tune it in. It's kinda short so all of the replay value comes from finding the hidden scenes and unlocking the bonus features and the extra game. I would say the majority of this build was a huge learning lesson. If I decide to do another one I now have a firm grasp of the capabilities that I am able to pull off. I think the possibilities are pretty endless.
