advmenu is missing some Roms

hi all,
i have a strange problem with advmenu.  Everything works fine except advmenu don't list all my roms.
As a test, i've emptied my rom list and only copied some pacman roms in it (pacland, pacman, pacman Jr). When i delete the advmenu.xml file and regenerate it, only pacland is in the list.  On the other hand, when i start the roms manually (with advmame) they all three work fine.  Any idea what i'm missing ?

Are you using the correct rom sets for that MAME version?

make sure advmenu .rc file is pointing to the right folder path for your ROMS, Emulator etc....

advmenu.rc is pointing to the right folder. i'm sure about that because it shows some roms that are in this folder.

I also think the rom's i'm using are godd because I can run them manually ("advmame pacman")

no idea what's wrong...
