Yeah, seriously. In six hours, my wife would have asked me to stop for a bathroom break at least three times.

not too mention within minutes upon being on the road this starts:

"your driving too fast"

"your to close to that car"

"are you sure your going the right way"

"you better check the map"

...

That's why he said "he hadn't <missed> her", not that "he didn't notice she wasn't there"

I'll bet the story is missing 2 very important details.

It was probably nighttime, and the car probably had a rear view mirror that had fallen off the windshield.

Well my trip up to Indiana and back confirmed it........

There is no possible way that you could ever leave your wife and not notice for 6 hours..........

allthough I never successfully left her behind but thought it might be fun to try............

Not many vehicles can drive for six hours straight without needing more fuel.

Not many American cars anyway. Don't forget that they actually have cars that get decent fuel economy in Europe.

My truck doesn't have the best gas mileage, but it has a huge tank. I can go for 6 hours on a full tank. I'll be burning fumes by the end, but I've done it before.
