Made some progress though if I change ‘system board’ Service from F2 to my right button on my Aimtrack which is start ‘joyo_o’ I can cycle through the first part of the Test/service menu however once I go into the
‘Game test mode’ screen and press the right button it cycles and selects ‘input test’ (so kinds acts as both) but once there you can’t get out of it as you need to press service and test together.

Hope you may be able to help and look into this and if not I totally understand.

as the demulshooter was updated with the game Friction I got the new version and the virtua cop3 chihiro stopped working. I'm using this command to run the rom according to what was passed in the manual:
Cxbx.exe /load c:\cxbx\vc3.xbe

The game opens but I can't start it, key 1 doesn't work.
I finally managed to reproduce the issue, after a dozen times without error.
DemulShooter ended in some kind of infinite loop while waiting for Cxbx to load the rom completely
This only happened once, and never when I ran DemulShooter way after the game has started. I think you can try (for now, untill I figure it out) to add some kind of delay to run demulshooter or even just try to run it once you're at the main menu just to seet if it's working or not

Run, c:\cxbx\Cxbx.exe /load c:\cxbx\vc3.xbe, c:\cxbx
Sleep 5000
send,{AltDown}{Enter}{AltUp}

Run, c:\DemulShooter\DemulShooter.exe -target=chihiro -rom=vcop3, c:\demulshooter


just don't forget to change the directories, if it's different from mine.

IT WORKED! i m using 2 aimtrak guns with Demulshooter 8.7.0 and just want to say Thank you !

Well..you just won't be able to do that with only a couple of buttons on your guns.
You'll usually need TEST, SERVICE buttons to navigate menus, and sometimes 1P_START or 2P_START and triggers to validate a few things
So you just have to use a keyboard to set up the game.
This has nothing to do with demulshooter (I'm just handling Aiming, Shoot and Reload)

Well..you just won't be able to do that with only a couple of buttons on your guns.

Thanks a lot and totally understand just thought if i could navigate through hotd2 it would be the same for confidential mission especially when I can navigate and select on the first screen ok, It only goes wrong on the ‘game test screen’ so was hoping you could shed some light. Not a problem and thanks a lot.

Has anyone with a dolphin bar + wiimote knows how to make the "middle button" works in wiimote (for 1 player)? shooting and reload working great for me, but in games like virtua cop 3 that have "middle button" it doesnt work.

Which mode are you using the bar in? Mode 4? And if so are you also using Touchmote?

Hi All, i know this out of topic when playing cxbx virtua cop 3 do you know how to fix this some sort of weird screen obscuring artefact happened towards the end of the second level.
A graphical bug that seems to have carried over from the previous version of the emulator, I think it was meant to be smoke or something that's just not displaying correctly? Thank you.

Hi Argon, I recently installed the Heavy Fire games, Afghanistan is working perfectly with 2 aimtraks with demulshooter but shattered spear is only letting me use one aimtrack. demulshooter told me I have got the steam version and installed the necessary dll files for me and told me to use, DemulShooter.exe -target=windows -rom=hfa2p_s which I have but it is still only working for one gun. I am using demulshooter 8.7.0. Can you help me with this problem.

Hello, please be gentle, this is my first post. I read the rules and tried searching before posting.
When I use DemulShooter in full screen I can't reach the Left and Right sides of the screen. I can reach the top and bottom but the cross-hairs stop around 20% of each side.
When the emulator window is smaller than my display screen, I can reach everywhere but as soon as I move the window past that zone, I can't reach it. It behaves as if Demulshooter read my screen as 4:3 instead of 16:9 (1920x1080).
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm using DemulShooter + Touchmote + DolphinBar mode 4.
Touchmote simulates XBox gamepads. Windows Controller Properties show that I can reach all corners of the Axes.
I have tried Demulshooter v8.6.0, v8.7.0, and v8.8.2 with CXBX Reloaded (VCOP3) and Teknoparrot (HOTD4 and OG).
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have a accurate tutorial on how to set-up a wii remote with a generic sensor bar to play house of the dead 4 on teknoparrot? all is setup buttons work on wii remote and sensor works before game loads but then I can only toss grenades no shooting. maybe a software issue..im using touchmote, demulshooter, teknoparrot emulator.

I am having a lot of problems with Model2 when using either Troubleshooter2 or Demulshooter. I have tried TS2 with 1.0 and Demulshooter with 1.1 and everytime I go fullscreen it gets stuck on a black screen and I can't close the app I can't even alt+tab+del or f4 to close it I have to reboot my computer. It has not happened once or twice but everytime I've tried model2 which has been multiple times in the last few days.

In addition to that my EMS Top Gun 3 doesn't work anyway with Model2 using TS2 or Demulshooter.

Hi, hope you can help been trying to get two guns to work with latest dolphin5 and demulshooterx64 on win 10 x64.
  Both guns work but both act as player 1, Ive followed the GitHub instructions a few times now but have had no joy getting them to work. I have demul and dolphin running in administrator mode. My Dolphin5 memory is rusted (but luckily I'm about to go back into it in the next few days) so untill then, you can retry - exactly as stated in the wiki - by running DemulShooter.exe instead of DemulShooter64.exe.
Can't promise it will solve the problem but it will be better for sure if more investigations are needed

Just for information, the later one is absolutely reserved for specific 64bits games (so far, the only mention to it is on Luigi Mansion Arcade wiki page)
I know it has been said many times here but I can understrand people comming directly from Github without getting the info here. This will be settled soon as the next released won't allow DemulShooterX64 to run for non allowed targets, and wiki will be lot more explicit on it

Hi Argonlefou, thanks for the quick reply. Sorry I didn't realise that the x64 bit wasn`t to be used, just presumed it was the 64 bit version. tried following the wiki agin but getting the same result. Thankyou for your help, especially at the moment, sure you have lots else on your mind.

Yes, you must use 5.0 stable release

hi guys but how it works with mame emulatotion?
MAME can handle multiple ligthguns alone, so no need for DemulShooter

It opens Teknoparrot over and over and over and I don't know why.  But when I remove the Demulshooter part and only run Teknoparrot it opens only 1 screen.

Hi Argon, Just wanted to say your Demulshooter has been a life saver. My kids think Im a hero because ive got all these gun games running on the arcade machine :lol. Just a couple of questions. If I run the 2Spicy game with the latest build of Demulshooter will I be able to choose the character that uses the automatic weapon. Also have you heard of the game Big Buck Hunter Arcade on windows. If so do you think you will be able to make it work with Demulshooter.

Yes, I worked on this game a few years ago (you can still see W.I.P code for this game in DemulShooter's sources) and results were not satisfying.
So far, I'm thinking of adding it in the next big update (in DemulShooterX64 as it's a 64bits game) but with a lot of limitations : it will just allow to play as Player1 with an Aimtrak
All Buttons, and P2 axis are still beeing a problem (like a lot of real windows games, like blue estate...)

For LMA, it correctly hooks to the emulator (it closes along with the emulator) but the crosshairs just won't move.

hi, the game itself run fine, but the zoom has visual bug that not letting you zoom hehe.

Well, this part of the answer will be preaty easy  ;D : if you can use a game with DemulShooter, it is because it is working fine.

I don't think any particular version of TP is required - even though it's not the safest emulator to update in general, so I may be wrong.
As usual, to have a quick check on what's going on and try to see easy mistakes, run Demulshooter with the -v option and share the resulting debug.txt file after using it
And of course, checking admin rights on execution, etc, etc...

If you use demulshooter64 + touchmote, It doesn't work.

It works only with demulshooter64 + dolphin bar in mode2 (mouse mode).

yes.
Ok, so these games are not real arcade material but console adaptation....and they are already available and fully playable (the 3 of them) with PCSX2.
And you can even tweak things a little bit to play with an Aimtrak
So, unless there are details I don't know about, there are no reason to hack these games on Xbox

Please help me get lightgun to work with Aliens Extermination Dehasped. I am so frustrated because I just had it working the other day and had to do a system restore for some other reason and now it won't work. I even copied all the files to a hard drive before restore and copied them back and doesn't work. I followed the same steps to get it working before and the gun is not recognized in gun calibration. Here is my AHK script which I have verified that [aliens] shows in demulshooter icon during the game. I have Demulshooter 8.8.2 files inside the location of the game.  The game itself is located in C:\PC\aliens.

run, DemulShooter.exe -target=globalvr -rom=aliens
run, aliens dehasped.exe -noavi

I get avi error without -noavi and the gun wouldn't work. Before putting -noavi fixed it. But not this time.  I only have 1 gun. Not using mouseenabler. Tried running as Administrator both the game and DemulShooter.exe and even AHK nope.
