The "bracket" is a simple L-bracket you can get at any homedepot store for pennies. Of course if you want to pay happs 30+ bucks to solder the bulb socket onto it then have fun. I would go for 12 volt lights for one simple reason. If you hook them up to an old powersupply, the lights ramp up as the powersupply warms up and slowly dim off as you switch it off. It's very cool. As leds are resistors, they don't light unless there is enough voltage to run them, and thus you don't get this effect.
