U360 in Metal CP w/Under Panel Dust Washer?
« on: January 21, 2010, 10:10:35 pm »
So...I've tried searching but not turned anything up.   Am I right in my assumption that I'm going to need some spacers to mount a U360 back a bit from a metal CP to be able to put a dustwasher underneath?  Because it seems like it would otherwise mount flush.

Or am I missing something critical here?

Looks that way to me.  And since 99% of the u360 buyers (total guess) mount on wood panels, having a flush mount makes sense.  Just put spacers slightly more than (+ 1/64" to 1/32") the thickness of the dustwasher.

You rock.  Thanks.  Will bring one of my washers to the hardware store and figure out the most appropriate washer/nut size to get.
