USB port question.
« on: November 05, 2009, 10:55:23 am »
Yes, I am already starting planning on another project. For it I will be building my own PC, I need a couple surface mounted USB ports for it and I am looking at This and this.

My question is, one is listed as having a 2.0mm pitch and the other is 2.54mm pitch. I'm not too sure on what that means... I'm PC savvy, but when it comes to hardware, I get lost pretty easy...

Thanks ahead of time!

Pitch is the distance between the pins... in this case, the pins on your motherboard.
