So guys I have a situation... I have been searching for router bits for the t molding and I have to say I'm $hit out of luck... I've been to Home Depot, Hardware Stores and even the wood workshop in my school and yet no luck. So I was wondering if any of you guys could lend me one I would be willing to pay. Please reply

I think you can buy them online at http://www.t-molding.com/store/home.php?cat=6
You probably remember me from such films as `The Revenge of Abe Lincoln' and `The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West'

That's what I did when I purchased my T-Molding. Where are you located?

Make sure you get the correct size for the T-Molding you're buying. They are not all the same size.

Thing is I've never bought anything online...I bought my buttons and microswitches through a friend who placed my order on ebay.

Then have your friend order from GGG. It's the better deal.

lol. Can't believe people are still afraid of ordering off the internet - all my family come to me for the same reason, and I say "well if you're that untrusting why should I risk it for you?"

lol.

I know....I totally agree...I remember i went to the drill bits and routers and asked everybody there..."Do you have slot cutter bits for doing t-molding" and all i got was the Deer in the Headlights look....from 10 different employees...

But then at the same time...you got to ask yourself...depends on what part of the country you live in...
Where as I myself, live in North Carolina...for example...when you think of hotub , you think of this...

Where as in NC, we think of this....

hi again Funnel

just wondering, where are you going to get the T-molding from?
most places that sell t-molding will also sell the matching router bits.

Hope you will find a solution, the last way out could be without t-molding.

cut the wood vertically on a table saw, just adjust the blade depth and use the right thickness blade,

just be careful

Uhmm... I could maybe see how that could work with a straight cut, but most cabs have angles that would be all but impossible to get to with a table saw...   :dunno

That sounds incredibly dangerous to me. Esp doing large panels vertically.

But, hey, not my fingers  :)

he didnt say what he was cutting. its how I did the tmolding grooves in my stand alone controller and how I plan to do them on my lil bar top.  Both of my routers are down (and the reason I'll never lend out tool again) so I have to make due with what IS working.  Also I use a wood push and or clamp the top to a bigger piece of wood  and take other precautions
