Arcade Reality show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How sick would that be an Arcade reality show. Anyone know how to start one. I think Richie Knucklez can be one of the stars since he's know as the Arcade Hunter.

I don't think I get the premise of this idea...

Do you mean to have a reality show where people are in an arcade?
Or maybe a reality show where people go around trying to find arcades? (Ala storm chasers)
Or one where people have to live life like they were in a videogame?

Going out on limb but maybe they can be visiting differnt arcades where they are rare games and discussing the history and who has the hi scores of each games. Or Maybe some people here building home arcade i dont know but i rather watch that then the "The Flavor of Love making millions"

Here, here! My god all the 2000's bought was a decade of reality shite - about the only scheduled thing I've been able to bear to watch is Top Gear and a handful of decent shows like Lost and some unique British sitcoms. Anything else is just shite churned out by execs aiming at a 'prominent female youth audience'. Stupid little girls in other words, which their idiot mothers and senile grandmothers also conveniently tap into occasionally.

Excuse the rant, but here's hoping they get their thinking caps back on next decade... err a few months from now... and put some quality programming back on. Maybe then we'll all be saved from these Z-list pseudo-celebs who seem to be famous simply through being on TV for 10 minutes and either flashing their ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- all over the shop (women) or simply acting the ---Bad words, bad words, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when saint censors you?--- (blokes). See Big Brother for a prime example.

"Reality shows" suck, but I think a show that followed the same format as the British show "Wheeler Dealers" would be cool.

Instead of cars, they could find and restore or refurbish arcade machines. They could even use the same guys; Edd China is awesome, and much of the stuff that goes into arcade machine restorations and refurbishments are things he's already good at.

I have that on DVD. It is amazing. I've seen it probably a dozen times. Highly recommended. The whole documentary is just shy of an hour.

This doesn't sound like a reality show, this sounds like a game show.

But then, most prime time 'reality shows' are just that, they are game shows.  An 'arcade reality show' would be like a documentary series that follows a group trying to keep an arcade alive and thriving in our modern era of Rock Band dinner parties and Xbox Live.

Alas. To breed....or not to breed?

Sort of an aside to this last: you know, when I was a kid and cable TV was fresh to me an my brother, I'd about KILL him for channel surfing. I find it a bit ironic that the very few and far between times I've been in front of a set in the last.....erm, sixteen years....there's been so little on, and so many stupid channels...I've done exactly that. Freakin channel surf!
