X-Arcade Trackball to MVS Neo Geo Mod
« on: September 01, 2009, 09:31:13 am »
Basically I have been wanting to play Golden Tee and Centipede and Bowling and the many other great Trackball games out there..
I want to keep my MVS Neo Geo Mame machine looking stock...(seen below)

So I found someone on BYOAC who has a X-Arcade Trackball for $50.00 and its new..

So I had an Idea to turn it into the below with a custom made overlay. Excuse the Photochop I am at work so I can't spend tons of time making it pretty.

This would just sit on top of my existing panel only when I get the need to play some Golden Tee or Centipede or whatever.

I also thought about changing the buttons to be red / yellow / green or blue or whatever (just to match the original look)

Later adding a Turbo Twist  for fun.

Question:
Has anyone reskinned a X-Arcade stick?  how hard was it to remove the overlay that comes on them by default?

Thank you for any input...
