Has anyone had any luck fitting the Tron/Satan's Hollow handles from GroovyGameGear to standard Happ competition joysticks?

No, but I did convert a Happ Super to use a trigger stick from an old pc analog joystick. It worked ok but the spring wasn't quite strong enough so the stick felt very loose. Also, the trigger stick provides a lot more leverage so I was really concerned that the hollow shaft would bend or the base would just break under the extra stress. Eventually I replaced my home-grown stick with a Happ Heavy Duty 8-way - the base on that is built like a tank.
