Classic Arcade Cabinet
« on: August 10, 2009, 03:27:13 pm »
For a long time now i always wanted an arcade cabinet, so recently i started building one, i was very inspired by the custom street fighter cabinet http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=84649.0  (thanks Martijn). i have made an weblog for it so maybe you want to check it out and tell me what you think about it.

looks like you are off to a great start...i like the cabinet shape, and i love the orange render.

how does that control panel feel?  i'd be a little concerned that there is no place to rest your hands on it when playing

The panel feels just good, but you have a point,  i made a muck-up before i decided where joystick and buttons where placed, also i didn't want to have a huge control panel in the front, so then i had to make some sacrifices.

You might even find, depending on your height, that whilst playing your wrists don't something to rest on? (unless seated I guess)
