As some of you might know, I have an old Dynamo JAMMA cabinet that I am building into a MAME cab. The game that was in there was a crappy boxing game, "Final Blow." I pulled the old side-art off, which left a gummy mess in some areas.
I bought some goof-off, which removed some of the adhesive and some of the paint where I was getting the adhesive off. I'm pretty much thinking that I am going to just repaint the entire cabinet.
My questions are:
1) Anyone use wood putty to fix any imperfections in their cabinets? How does it hold up in MDF?
2) What sort of paint should I use? I will be rolling it on. Should I go for a gloss, semi-gloss, or flat? I'm going to paint it black.
I am getting side art done by Emdkay, so whatever I get will have to allow me to use some spray ahdesive to put the art on.
