Already have them.  :)  I kind of wish they were made of plastic though--twist, whack, done.  With silicone, you basically have to push out every cube one by one.  The melting invaders do look nice in my Coke though.

Do they float so you can see that they are invaders?

LOL...good point.   ::)

Perhaps I should have been more clear for the obtuse...  Do the ice invaders float flat so they look like invaders from the top, or do they kinda randomly float so you only get a view of them (from the top) from time to time?

I get it...you're asking if they float so you can see their faces from the top.  Good question!  I would think so.  When you have a sheet of ice in water it floats flat, I would think the same principle applies.

I suppose they would if you had only 1 or 2 in there...you usually fill your glass at least half with ice, everything just gets packed together.  Dunno, never really stare at the top of my drink.  From the side you definitely can see the shapes, even when they have melted down a bit--the pixels just get a little rounded.

They also have Pac Man pot holders and Space Invaders Cutting Boards at ThinkGeek if that's your thing. The cutting board is a bit pricey though.

This has got to be the single most entertaining post I've come across in weeks.

Thank you!

 :cheers:

That chopping board looks awesome! I love to cook, and that would be a great addition!

What other characters would make good ice cubes?

Pac-man and the ghosts come to mind, but other than that I'm blank. Eveything I think of seems too complex to translate well into small figures of ice.

That would be cool if I could modify my refrigerator to spit out invader cubes!
