Not nearly as funny as watching two people try to play Soul Calibur on DDR mats.

Not really DDR. Interesting but mental. Or, alternatively, apparently he mame'd his DDR. Good show, dude. Crazy Nords. As for his pony tail, it was braided, yo.
Yo. Chocolate.

Hey guys, way to go, judge a book by the cover. Peter's a great guy. The way he looks is his business.
I wonder how you guys all look, let's have some pics so we can comment.

He's actually converting it to The Groove 3 which is apparently an open source DDR software that's much better than Konami's stuff. So yes there's a PC in there now and just for fun he installed MAME before completing the conversion.

I judged his hair not him, big difference between "retarded pony tail" and "retarded ---uvula--- with a ponytail"
I'm at work, but if you *really* want me to post some pictures of me, I will when I get home.  My hair doesn't make me an ---uvula---, my attitude does :)

Seen a few of these converted DDR/Dancing Stage cabinets on ebay recently. Someone on this side of the pond must have offloaded a load recently. Wouldn't be too bad to convert one of these cabs for either Groove or Stepmania, but the cabs themselves are still too expensive to pick up cheap normally. Be easier to build one using a metal dance pad, a fat sub and sound 12v neons.

Thats what I thought when I saw DK running on what, if complete, would still be a $6k machine. I was a huge DDR player for the better part of two years and I'd kill for a dedicab...

A while back, my friends and I attempted with some success to build a DDR pad. It worked pretty well; however, we made some mistakes while cutting the plexi for the foot-pads that kept one or two of them from working 100%. This could have easily been fixed if we had more plexi and re-cut it, but we didn't have the money to spend at the time.

If you can't tell from the picture, we spent very little on the project.

Anyway, my point is that one could easily build the metal dance pads as well (Instead of purchasing them).

Xiaou2 I just like giving you trouble because of that one thread (the one where you cried for a week & pretended it was about Star Wars or something). So don't get all sassy on me & talk about my corn hole.

I apologize to the long hair guy for calling him Pocahontas, sincerely. To my defense my only exposure to culture was a PBS show & a trip to Los Angeles.

I am sorry to everyone I offended.............except Xiaou2  :burgerking:

Im not too versed on historical fact.. and the politically correct terminology..

But I would Think that "Native American"  is much more of an Insult...
considering that America was not called America until it was invaded
by the white man who enslaved and killed the Natives.

Calling them Natives  "Americans"  at such a time would have been quite
the slap in the face.   Just like me rolling up on your lawn,  calling it
Xiaou2 Land,  and forcing you to live in the basement and be my servant.
If you resisted... dirt nap time.

There is a HUGE difference between being unintentionally offensive...
-vs-   decisively being a  tool.

Every culture murdered, its what defines a society (they say religion & art but what is truly at the heart of that other than art & murder?).

The Mayans murdered their own babies for hope of rain, then the conquistadors murdered them & then somehow a bunch of the English came to America to kill what was left of their own, there were more wars, civil & revolutionary & now Muslim radicals want to kill all ethnicities.

At some point in time there were battles of the what 32 variations of human species which killed each other off too.

Dont forget to feel sympathy for Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age victims too Xiaou2 since you are handing out sad ---smurfette--- cards.

Those poor Mongolians too, I feel sorry for them.

FYI: Living in my basement would be a sweet life.
