Pac man cocktail Jamma monitor question
« on: March 17, 2009, 06:57:30 pm »
Hi all, first post so hello all.

I've just bought a nice original Pac Man cocktail in the UK and I plan to Jamma it with a 60 in 1 PCB.

I am planning to use a Jamma loom, 60 in 1, ATX power supply for the game. Should I use the original power supply to do the monitor? Can I just remove all the non-monitor connections from the original supply and run the monitor from that?

I haven't investigated the state of the machine too heavily but it's loom is a complete mess!

Thanks all,

Charlie

If your pac is working condition just goto

http://www.lizardlickamusements.com/pages/boards.shtml

look for

Lizard Lick Jamma PCB to Pac Cabinet Adapter

costs 60 bucks and does the power conversion for you, keep your cab original, this is as plug and play as it gets. It has inputs on the adapter for the extra buttons that you will need, one side plugs into the pac harness the other side plugs into your multiboard.
also costs less than jamma harness, ps, connecters etc.

Thanks for the info, the loom in the cabinet is all in pieces and loose and I don't want to use it so will go jamma loom instead.
