Fire (rt joy) u360 and mechatron autohotkey?

I don't know if I am answering my own question or not.

I'm having trouble mapping the rt u360 for fire as the programmable inputs for mechatron, it only allows keystrokes to be allocated for the fire function, no joystick option for fire.

Would a program like autohotkey fix my mapping issues on joystick2 (u360)
