Got mine and the picture is great. I used the 9 pin cable that came with it cut the small round end off. I found the wires inside to be:
pins 1&2 ground the shield wire
pin 3 Red the Black wire
pin 4 Green the Brown wire
pin 5 Blue the Red wire
pins 7&8 Sync the Orange wire
The only problem is that the image has what I believe to be called a pincushion problem. The adjustment on the monitor does not correct. So there is still a challenge.

hmmmm I would say that the pin setting on the back may have gotten bumped, or could also be a sync issue. Have you tried running different resolutions? I know these were running prior to being pulled. It may that the hsize is set too low. Just lemmie know if there is still an issue and I can swap it for a different one.

I think that it will be ok if I keep playing with it. No need to exchange.
I was just posting to see if anyone else set one up.

I'd say hit up the monitor forum for tips, I know of about 4 guys there that could probably be able to help. The worst case scenario would be messing with the rings on the back of the crt.

Looks like it was just a problem with the monitor and the board. Mame ran fine:-)

So anyway, these are back on sale due to a bunch not being able to come through. If youd like one, come on by. Local only please:-)

So what was the overall result of the circumstance?

The monitor works great. It is just that each input type takes some adjustment to get it just right.

I have found that some game boards require more width than the standard external controls allow. The vs 10 yard fight seems to be one of those boards. I have not yet found the internal control to adjust the width more.

Using either the composite video or RGB from an AVGA video card I can get it to work just fine.

That is awesome to hear!
As a side note I am requesting a full schematic from the manufacturer so that we all have the info. I will let you know if they ever get me anything.

Will these work on a SF II arcade cabinet?  How's the picture quality in these? How hard would it be to install one of these, as i have a sf2 arcade cabinet & only thing missing is a monitor...

The picture quality is great! As far as weather they would work on that board I would like to say yes, as this monitor takes board resolution, but I would not be able to test it for you. As far as ease of install, you would need to modify your mounting setup as they are allready in a case, but other than that probably nothin. I just set mine in my cabinet so far.

andi - offer to set up the shipping yourself. Like, get a fedex account or something, and you can set a pick-up for his address. They may even box is for you, though I don't know how reasonably-priced, and then all he has to do is be there for them to pick it up.

I like this idea. I would be more than happy to drop it off somewhere, but boxing and securing it for shipping are not really my forte. I know if I were in charge of packing it it would break on the way.
