T-Molding suppliers in Canada?
« on: December 03, 2008, 02:39:16 pm »
Hi All,

This is my first official post, but I have been lurking for a few months now.  I began building a cabinet a few weeks ago. I ordered my cp parts but I forgot to order T-molding at the same time.  With the current exchange rate and the outrageous shipping/duty charges I am hoping to find a T-Molding supplier in Canada.  I almost bit the bullet and ordered from T-molding.com, but their site says UPS doesnt deliver to my location and it didnt provide any alternatives.

Can anybody recommend a suppler?  I live near Vancouver, BC, but anywhere in Canada will do.

Thanks!

Dude, I live in Vancouver too, and I bought my t-molding from t-molding.com.  After shipping and exchange it came out to $27.61.
T-molding is cheap...you don't have to be. :)

You may want to contact them directly. They ship pretty much anywhere in the world.

Really? And you were able to ship it to your door? Here is what it says when I try to enter my address:

"Please select another carrier, the current selection does not deliver to your location"

....

ohhh... I just changed from UPS to "Other Carriers" and that fixed it.

Wow! What a great first post. I rock!  :embarassed:

Yeah, they don't use standard UPS to ship it up here, for obvious reasons.  I just went with the international shipping, (USPS First Class Mail International Package) and got it sent to my door.

I live in Langley, BC and I had it delivered to my door. You just need to select "Other Carrier" as the others here have stated and it will work fine. Mine showed up my mail parcel slot.

Took about a week to arrive.

The Playdium Store in Toronto will ship t-molding (and a bunch of other parts, too) - decent prices, but expensive shipping, I think.

I live close to Toronto, so I'd go and pick it up - a bit of a commute for you folks in BC.

I just got some from Starburst coin, the prices were pretty good, shipping is not the cheapest but I was getting some other items as well.
