That's true but if you go in there and talk to the guys first, they'll help you out.  Don't go in there on a weekend when they are busy and expect great things, but if you talk to someone when they aren't busy and explain what you need, they may help you out.  I've had them give me scrap pieces for free that they usually charge for just by being polite, having a conversation etc. 

Their rough cuts just get the job done so you can haul a 4x8 sheet of mdf in the back of your car.  They can make fine cuts that are pretty specific if needed.

Here, Lowes will not cut wood at all. Home depot will cut on a massive machine per Saints price schedule, but they don't even use a tape measure. You get 1" +or - accuracy.

One time, I had Lowes cut some plexi to size for some marquees. You would think by his reaction  that the mere thought of actually looking at the built in measuring tape would give him an aneurysm. I did get the pieces cut to size (and for free), but he half-assed it all and I had to fix one piece with my trusty belt sander. I also had to look over his shoulder the whole time and correct him over and over.

Long story short, don't have a box store cut your stuff to size. You are only asking for trouble.

Luckily, I hadn't cut out my control panel yet, so the extra inch wasn't that big a deal, but in a different situation, it could've been.

I really do not want to do that, but it does make sense. I will probably never make it back into the PnR section again and will forever be looked at however these guys want to see me. In the end, I guess I will just stick it out with this name, and it is too much trouble waiting days/weeks to get the new account approved and then also having to explain again why I want to have access to PnR and it would be as a new member on the board and would be denied anyway. It's all just not worth it.

So, wunder, you're on your own with the those Obama lovers... nothing I can do from here and I think they like it that way. Not having a strong voice against their guy in their way is exactly what they are looking for. Not to mention how obvious it would be if I were to join under another name and then again start to bash Obama.

Maybe put this on the front page somewhere: All new members, do not get anyone here pissed at you, it will only lead in your demise. Agree with all they say or you will be banned to the depths of hell with no chance to redeem yourself. The members here will, infact, take turns, pushing you out the door with as many insults as it takes to achieve their mission, you being gone.
