BYOC and Killercabs had very different ideologies when it came to this hobby.  Some of which might make for an uncomfortable situation if the two were merged together.

Nah, quite the opposite really.  They had a great deal of respect for preserving the original specs of a cabinet and game.

Killercabs, for the uninformed, was a site based out of the UK that was mostly dedicated to Japanese style sit down candy cabs.  They were sticklers for maintaining factory specs, using original pcbs, and using only Japanese controls.  A very informative and useful site for anyone into this particular part of the hobby.

Sounds like the same way most people around here are sticklers for art originality tastefully designed CPs.  I bet the two would come together nicely...

Killercabs was great for Japanese cab info. Because the scope was totally different from BYOAC I was a regular visitor. The kind of info that you could get on killercabs simply isn't available anywhere else. It would be a great shame if all the info on killercabs would be lost. Maybe the owner can make the old forum data available for anyone who wants to continue?

Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.

The same kind of ideals, but for different types of cabs - ie: mame-ing a candy would (at the very least) be frowned upon. That's what he meant.
