Ultimate Arcade Plans

Hi!
I'm making my first cab with cyberpunk's plans and I seem to have hit a snag
All the width measurements are 1' 1/4". This obviously can't be correct because you are supposed to be able to put a 25 inch monitor in there.
Should I just make all the width measurements 25 inches?
Thanks!
Travis

actually, a 25 inch moniter is not always 25 inches across. remember, the dimensions of a moniter are based off the pythagorean thereom, and that 25 inch is from bottom left to top right corners.

You should email him (Cyberpunk) or message him and ask. He's under that name on this site and as you probably know he has his own site. Try an email and an instant/private message on both sites and you'll probably get an answer within a day or so.

I have the original ultimate arcade plans from Cyberpunk and the width is shown as 2 ft 1 inch inside measurement. The only place I see a 1ft .5 inch measurement is to the center of the panel to locate a drawer pull. Are you sure you are reading the right measurement? The original needed a minimum of 27 inch door to fit so 25 inside + 2x.75 sides =26.5 which sounds about right.

The plans call for 2'-1" which is 25". I made it a little larger, 27" so I could install a WG 9200 in the future. I ended up with an NEC Multisync 27" monitor(ABSOLUTLY ROCKS FOR MAME!) and it fit with a 1/2" to spare on both sides (:
