My joysticks aren't working right...
« on: July 24, 2008, 07:48:23 pm »
if the right joystick is moving the left joystick won't register anything

I just checked and they aren't registered to the same inputs...

any idea what might be going wrong?

Double check your wiring.  Does left joystick work properly otherwise?

It seems that if the left stick moves right and the left stick moves left there is no issue...

But if both joysticks move up, only the right joystick will register.

I'm stumped.  I think you have something miswired.

But up on the left stick works fine so long as the right stick is not up?

You have to supply more info.  Like, what combinations work, and which ones don't...all of them :)

Thanks but did you add it to my order? And how do I pay you the difference? :)

It turned out to be a software problem. Once I switched over to MAME instead of Winkawaks the problem disapeared.

I knew it... you always forget a "small detail".  :laugh2:

I assume it quit working properly as soon as you switched to winkawaks?

Glad you figured it out.
