Quick Question About Button Wiring??
« on: July 13, 2008, 04:45:05 pm »
Ok im going for a 7 button setup for my new cab lets say for example:

1234
567

Now can i wire the buttons so instead of actually have 7 individual buttons i have 2 buttons wired up together and they wont conflict with each other, ie

1234
456

I'll be using the wiring harness that you get for the U360 sticks not an I-PAC board!

I can think of no reason where that would be an issue.

It is essentially the same thing you are doing with the ground wires.

Your drawing is not quite right. You want the red wire tied directly to the black wire entering the first "4" button. The way you have it drawn it looks like it is series, you need it in parallel.

That's exactly what he has there.  It's daisy chained together so the two wires merge at the button.  That's the proper way to wire it.
