I built a very simple jukebox based on cadis's design seen here.
http://www.adisweb.com/jukebox/index.htmlOnly in the bottom compartment of mine I have my Mobo and my power switch (subwoofer sits on the floor next to it), so I can just open it up and turn it on. It seems to work out nicely.
Since I do not have a receiver I had to find the best sounding computer speakers out there, and the Klipsch 2.1 pro media center is actually a great sounding set of speakers, and the sub vibrates my whole apartment.
To shut down the machine I use probably the most stable jukebox software I have tried out (all the rest I was able to crash) called Nordbeat.. in Nordbeat you can use the powerdown function that will turn off the computer. It works extremely well.
So mine is very simple to operate, the sound is very high quality, It takes up little space, and is easy to get to if I need to fix something.
