It's a flash presentation, so you don't get the full monty till a ways in.

Very peculiar though I see how it could function nicely. Not sure it would make enough of a difference to justify the weird look, as a stand-alone 'box arcade' or otherwise. On a regular upright machine I'd rather stick with a classic shape, plus a box arcade has to be easy to handle, and that shape would be awkward to store, subject to corner scuffing, and maybe difficult to find a suitable surface to play on.

Nice finish though. I like the pool ball track and the chrome edging. The mini-itx board used saves a lot of space too; I know after building one of these machines myself with a similar PC.

Who makes this panel anyway?

it looks interesting, although i found the slideshow to be waaaaaaay to slow, it was all i could do to make myself sit through that.

I like it, very slick.

Very interesting indeed.  Given it's a Mobile CP, chances are it will be placed on a coffee table, which would make for interesting 4 player interaction.

That would be a great design on a full cab me thinks.

Yeah, no doubt! I wanted to hang myself it was so excruciating to sit through. And after all that, there is nothing to click on to see info about it.  I wish that I could tell all web designers, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

I am seriously considering using elements of this box's design in my final cp layout, as well as the overall feel of my fullsize cab.  A
Although I agree that it would be hard to have 4 players at a standalone box, and the slideshow was way too slow.

It's an attractive design but not attractive enough that I would want the PC I/O ports at crotch level.

So much effort to make, so much effort to sit through. That damn flicking of the images was the worst. "Finall....   "

Whatever. I guess I'm going to come out and ask. Those main sticks are really close to the edge and the track, 4-way and spinner are way in the back. Am I the only one that thinks this must make for some uncomfortable game play? Play the 1 & 2 sticks and you're going to have some body part digging in the edge. Play the four way or spinner and you have to watch your elbows on those buttons.  ???

Figures.  Most flash designers throw the importance of functionality right out the window. You'll be hard pressed to find a flash web site that actually uses ....... *gasp* .... 100% width.  Maybe the majority of the world still uses 14" monitors? Who knows? *shrug*   I feel so special seeing a 6" wide flash web page on my "state-of-the-art" LCD monitor. My monitor is soooo big!  As for efficient navigation..... do we need that?  Nahh... we be honored to wait ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY for the pimpin' flash intro and special affects! And for each page, please.... we all just love to wait for the navigation menu load. It's like making a late entrance to a party. It's so pretty. And let's not forget about the teeny scrolling text boxes. Who needs text content on a web site? We certainly wouldn't want to hinder the artistic design!  After all, if a picture is worth a 1000 words, then flash websites shouldn't need any. What was I thinking! Oh.. and I have to say... it's so enjoyable to play hide and seek with the mute/volume control.  I feel so proud if I find one, I start to get a little verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves.

As for the panel, I really like the stepped indentation that allows for pinball buttons. Simple, but clever.
