FYI 1/8" Slot Cutter $7.99
« on: June 03, 2003, 11:03:54 pm »
Just saw this in my latest Harbor Freight Tool Catalog and thought you guys might be interested.  (I think 1/8 is the right bit for T moulding)

Three Wing Slot cutter.  C2 carbide tips. Includes 1/8" and 1/4" cutters.  1/4" shank and 2" diameter cutting heads.

Go to www.harborfreight.com

Click on "order from printed catalog"
put in the item number 42133-2AAA and you can get the special price of $7.99.

If you just do a find on the item number the price comes up as $9.99.  So make sure you "order from the printed catalog" to get the sale price.

Shipping is 3 bucks so $11 total is pretty good for a slot cutting bit.

BTW Harbor Freight has decent tools for the weekend handyman.  Not the best quality, but I've got several of their cheap tools that are still working fine under the sparse use I put them through.  Sign up for the catalog...it's fun to just leaf through and see what's out there.

Hope that helps someone.

1/16" is what you want for t-molding. 1/8th will "do" (with hot glue) but 1/16" is really what you want.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.
