Labeled arcade push buttons?
« on: June 20, 2008, 09:44:10 am »
Where can I find buttons that have pause, coin, and escape printed on the buttons. All I can find are the clear buttons with the different inserts to but in them. I have seen pic's of peoples CP,s with labeled buttons but i cant find were to buy these. Unless they are making them themselves.

Someone on here makes/made sticker overlays for the buttons.

Pongo's vinyl button labels are uber-sweet. Just got mine in the mail a couple days ago.

The stickers are fine but I doubt they would stand the test of time. Maybe add a clear tape over it or something.

I've considered labels, but will probably light mine and install those little discs instead.

From what I'm understanding (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) but these are vinyl stickers, so I didn't see why they wouldn't hold up, especially since they wont be used that much like a fire button would. Has anyone had a problem with them wearing out?

Doubt all you want but I have three children who play on my cabinet and the stickers haven't been affected by them.

I thought about clear nail polish over them when I put mine on, but they appear to be pretty rugged, so I opted not to.

If it wears I can easily replace the stickers anyway.
