Got some great news on Fathers day, My mom told me one of her friends has 2 arcade machines that they wanted to get rid of and asked me if I wanted them.
It's my mom,

sooooo I nicely said of coarse I do.
I was told one works and one doesn't.
I asked what kind are they...........
Mortal Kombat 2 in a converted dynamo cab (doesn't work when I go to pick it up) but the other one works
I only have room for one game at a time in my truck so I take the Mortal Kombat home yesterday and it indeed doesn't work. I unload it and start to take a look inside, the monitor chassis had only one screw holding it place a it was almost hanging inside the vab, I remount it and secure all of the connections and try again, neck glows and I hear the high voltage hum, however the screen was black with what appears to be a white flicker on the bottom. I open up the drawer that dynamo cabs have, give the motherboard a good lookover, pressed the game roms and memory chips to make sure they were seated securely and try again. Leds flash on the motherboard, Now I have a have rolling image and no sound..... Inside the coin mech is a volume pot. I turn it up and now there is sound.......after a few minutes messing with the monitor controls its fully working. I am never this lucky. I just had to share. I think I am going to sell the Mortal Kombat and keep the other one. I need a new monitor for my mame rig and this Mortal Kombat should almost cover the cost for a digital multisync.
And my wife says see dosen't like to play.....
