Anyone produce a Marquee LCD?
« on: June 03, 2008, 11:27:00 pm »
I think it would be cool to have a LCD Marquee, that changed the marquee to whatever game you were playing in mame or had highlighted in your front end.  Anyone pursued this before or is it just to expensive to be a option?

I can't imagine where one would get an LCD that was just the right shape for the task, but it is a neat idea.

Does look pretty sweet!

Shame they don't make a dedicated marquee monitor!

This projector technology might work if the price came way down

That does look pretty good if it could fit inside the cabinet.   This projector works pretty well for a marquee, because it has a pretty short throw and does not use a lot of power  (~ 40 watts).  Also, it uses LEDs instead of a colorwheel+lamp combination.  I used it in the project in my signature
