(I'm not sure if this is more of a 'software forum' question...?)
Basically, I have all the buttons wired up to the Ipac (the two U360's are separate, using the USBs obviously), then I have the keyboard cable going from the 'PC' socket (not the KBD passthrough) to the Keyboard input on the computer. The green light on the Ipac2, however, is lit up yet the computer doesn't seem to recognize it in WinPac.
Also, in Mala, under "Hardware," it just gives the Ipac links, not like it's being recognized. And same thing in Mame, when I go in (using the keyboard plugged into a USB) I hit my TAB, hoping to configure some buttons that way by hitting them and getting them recognized, but nothing happens.
Is there maybe some 'on off' type of switch or something that I need to hit on the Ipac?
Thanks for any input... this is my first time using an Ipac so hopefully this isn't a stupid question.
(ps, I have to buttons hooked up to my Happ 3" trackball and they work great... although it's independent of the Ipac, I'm happy to see that my wiring worked with that... so I don't think it's a wiring issue with the other buttons.)
