N64/PSX > USB Adapter - Extending Selector Switch
« on: May 02, 2008, 07:16:07 am »
I have a couple of N64/PSX > USB adapters that I wish to extend the switch on.

This is the switch in question.

I guess I could just desolder it and run wires from the new switch position to the PCB but I would like to buy a nicer switch to replace it with. Will the switch be single or double pole?

This is the switch I would like to 'replace' it with, its a sub minature DPDT slide switch, would it be suitable?

This is a picture of the underside of the PCB if it helps:

If I label the pins:

123
456

it only looks as if pins 3, 4 and 6 are connected, is that correct?
