Howard has left the building?
« on: March 05, 2008, 06:29:17 am »
http://dragonking.arcadecontrols.com/ :(

I feel like we've lost a great contributer to the arcade scene. I'm hoping he just needs a holiday or something.

Sometimes to enjoy the beauty of the forest, one must leave the woods.

I wish him good luck and hope he decides to return soon...

We didn't always see eye to eye, but I wish you the best Howard. If you are having real life problems that led you to this decision, then I hope things turn well soon for you.

Fair play, I think HC did more than his time. I am sure he is ok, and I'm sure we'll feel the dragon's breathe in the future, one way or another  ;)

All the best Howard.

I was looking forward to the release of your new version but if it's that stressful for you then it's cool. You need to do what's best for yourself in this life before anything else. Take care and I hope things go well for you.

Now there is only one know it all here left.  What will we do?
Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a whampin' and whompin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.

well i hope howard is okay and that his personal life is alright.

that being said....i can honestly that i despised the man on this board.  really smart guy, but a turd on the forums.  no ill will towards him personally, but man, he sucked on this forum.

but seriously though, theres like an empty void that needs to be filled now.  maybe my leftover sandwich from lunch....there that did it. j/k!

Howard, I miss Gygax, too, but this is ridiculous.

Finish the release already, or publish the source! There are no open-source VB frontends that I no of and certainly none as advanced as DK. Do you want all the work you did on the new release to go to waste? Release it, let it live!

Suck it up and Git R Done!
