Ok. It hooks up via a 50 pin ribbon connector (2 rows of 25 on a single connector, like a hard drive connector, but a bit longer).
There are no ICs, capacitors, resistors or anything on the board at all. Just 5 rows of 5 small single LED numbers, and a large row of 5 single led numbers.
They appear to be wired in a matrix where each pin from the 50 pin connector leads to many individual pins on the LED numbers.
Each led number has ten pins, which I believe stands for the 10 numbers each one is capable of displaying, with no power meaning off (my guess at least).
