ordered all my parts

ordered most of my stuff through DM (thanks bro)

and i got the tt2 spinner from ggg

iam like a little kid on xmas eve, i cant wait!

in the mean time, is there any step by steps out there with pictures that i should be reading in order to wire up my control panel? it'll be my first time and i dont have much expierence with wiring.  My father is an electrican, but id like to have a good idea of whats going on first.

How much did you spend on the parts? I spent over $400 just for the control panel parts. As for the wiring, I would recommend you ask your pop. I'm sure he'd be glad to help.

There are plenty of good diagrams on these forums for basic wiring.  Its just a matter of searching (maybe the Wiki too?)

But to sum it up... make a ground "chain" that connects all the commons on all sticks and buttons and connect that to the ground of whatever encoder you bought (IPAC, etc).

Then wire each NO (normally open) "tab" on all sticks and buttons directly to the correct input on the encoder (which in most cases is silk screened on the PCB (1UP, P1B1, etc).

I hope you got the wiring kit from DM, since that will save you the headache of compiling the parts you need seperately.

looks more compicated than it is, you have one active and one ground wire for every button, 4 each for sticks, just go buy a roll of thermostat wire at home depot you strip it and you will have 2 wires inside, grounds can daisy chain together and meet at your ipac then the actives just go straight from the button or joystick to your ipac

Yup.

The only part you need to "test out" is with the switches on the buttons, they sometimes have 3 "tabs".  Use a DVOM to find the NO tab vs the NC tab.  (Or if they are labeled, just use the NO tab).
