Bezel glass or Bezel plexi?
« on: January 14, 2008, 12:37:39 pm »
Ok, tinting is out of the question because I hear it is hit or miss with the ActLabs guns which I plan to get in the future.

However, I was wanting some opinions on whether I should get glass to cover my bezel or plexi?  Is tempered glass a better option (I wouldn't want kids to get hurt if it somehow broke).  Polarized glass to reduce reflections?  Will plexi scratch easily when cleaned?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

you could always use the LCD topgun and hide the infrared sensors outside the glass..

Good suggestion, but I'd rather not use LCD togguns.  Actlabs is the way I would like to go.

Tempered glass is very strong, its what I used. More expensive than plexi but worth it.
Comes in gray and bronze, get the gray.

I am looking for a bezel for a 33" monitor, due to issues with the ACT light gun not liking the smoked plexi I used at first.

Anyone have any ideas of where I can find one... Happ doesn't carry them anymore.

Thanks!
