Oooh I'd dig a list like that too..

Is your table going to use an LCD or ? Cause I'm planning on making one as well.

No this list is not complete... I created this list with Mame v77 - v80 something. It was done several years ago and I'm sure lots of new games or bug fixes, etc... since this list was compiled. Feel free to test and update the list, if you desire. Surely this list should reduce your time to do so.  ;D

Something that people forget quite often is that there are some games that can be played on a cocktail, that aren't really cocktail games.

Space Duel is a great example of this.
It's really a horizontal game, but can be played just as well from the end of the table.

yeah, check the very bottom of that list page-we've got a special section just for games like that (essentially any top down viewed game)   I'd like to put asteroids on my machine, but I can't figure out how to enable cocktail mode on it, because it uses a jumper and not a dipswitch, so there's no menu for it.  Anyone?

Off the top of my head, RadarScope and Millipede.

Off the top of my head, RadarScope and Millipede.

Radar Scope shows up on a query using a later (I just tried 0.97) version of MAME.
For whatever reason, millipede is listed in controls.dat as not being cocktailable.  Whats up with that?  I've never really looked into that one, since I don't yet have a trackball.

either way, yeah , as turbo6 says, the list is a little stale.  If I had the latest MAME here in front of me, I'd kick off a query via ROMLister and update the list, but I'm stuck with 97.
