OK, here's where I stand after almost two weeks of collecting consoles. I included the prices in case anyone else is in the market.
Playstation with controllers and a boxed game (not working) - $10
Two NES's with controllers, zapper gun, and game (both working but missing doors so if anyone has a spare...) - $15
Atari 2600 with joysticks (still need paddles) and bunch of games (working)- $10
Emerson Arcadia with controllers (unknown, presumably not working)- $15
Old Pong clone with light gun, box, and instructions (working)- FREE! Thanks Chris Moore at KLOV!
13 old school handheld electronic games including original Gameboy (unknown yet, some probably not working)- $37
Still looking for...
Genesis
Colecovision
Commodore 64
GameGear
Intellivision - Hoopz is sending me one so this is in the works. Thanks Hoopz!
I thought I had a deal working over at KLOV for the others I need but it seems to be stalled so if anyone has any of the others on the list, working or not, let me know.
This has been fun collecting something other than full size arcade games which of course are costly and space consuming. My kids are actually excited about this right now too. Even though we can play every game on every console on my MAME cab, it's still fun to plug one of these in to the TV and kick it old school. My son destroys me at Guitar Hero but can't figure out how to beat me at the Atari 2600 games to save his life.
